Digital Signature Age Unleashed in Asia as Entegrity Solutions and Power Information Security Sign Taiwan’s First Legally Binding Digital Contract

Entegrity Trust Services Platform™ and Signonline’s ASP Services Enable Groundbreaking Event from Offices in Japan, Taiwan

SAN JOSE, CA, September 25, 2000 - Entegrity Solutions® Corporation, a leader in Trust Solutions for business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce, and Signonline, Inc., a leading application service provider of on-line, legally enforceable electronic signatures and electronic dynamic document storage and retrieval, today announced the signing of Taiwan’s first legally binding digital contract. The contract was digitally signed today between Entegrity Solutions, in Tokyo, and Power Information Security, in Taiwan. In the contract, the two companies have agreed that Power Information Security, the first and only Total Security Solution Provider in Taiwan, will distribute the Trust Solutions of Entegrity Solutions to the Taiwan market.

This event relied on Signonline’s applications service provider (ASP) services to enable safe transfer of the contract over the World Wide Web via a Portable Document Format (PDF) file while ensuring the integrity of the document. The Entegrity Trust Services Platform™ is used to integrate Signonline’s applications to global trusted infrastructures for enablement of such groundbreaking events.

The signed document was then archived in Signonline's SAFE (Secure Accessible File Environment) technology service, which allows companies to store, access and manage their digital contracts in a secure environment.
