| SignOnline collects personal information, including
name, SSN, address and email, in order to accurately verify personal identity.
By answering these questions, you will help us prevent identity fraud and
better ensure your security. Please note: this data is not collected or
stored for later use. SignOnline uses an automated process to collect and
verify this information in order to minimize the sharing of this data with
individuals, including SignOnline employees. Due to this security feature,
the online collection is the only option for submitting this data to SignOnline.
The information is only shared with two parties: 1) SignOnline's authentication
partner and 2) SignOnline's digital certificate vendor. Because SignOnline
only offers authenticated digital certificates, it is unable to issue certificates
to individuals who choose not to submit personal information. SignOnline uses various security protocols to protect the transmission and storage of any data collected from a digital certificate applicant. These measures include Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, proprietary encryption methods and technical security architectures. The data is first gathered via an SSL connection and then encrypted via a proprietary encryption model to protect it in transit to SignOnline's authentication partner, Experian. Any data that is logged by SignOnline is protected behind firewalls and a technical security architecture that will not allow an outside user access to the database. SignOnline commits to its users that the data collected is for authentication purposes only and remains with SignOnline. SignOnline will not re-sell data collected to third parties or outside vendors. If you have questions or concerns about SignOnline's security and privacy policies, please contact SignOnline at 877-636-4765. |
