These measures include Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, proprietary encryption methods and technical security architectures. The data is first gathered via an SSL connection and then encrypted via a proprietary encryption model to protect it in transit to SignOnline's authentication partner, Experian. Any data that is logged by SignOnline is protected behind firewalls and a technical security architecture that will not allow an outside user access to the database. SignOnline commits to its users that the data collected is for authentication purposes only and remains with SignOnline.
