The Solution: SmartSignature® Server

The SmartSignature Server Application is a server-side component that allows organizations to customize the signing experience for their users. This can be accomplished by connecting SmartSignature Server to existing applications or creating a new interface for signers. SmartSignature Server is a username/password-based signing component that is fully integrated with the SmartSAFE solution. The component resides on your organization’s servers and acts as a middleman between your web applications and the SmartSAFE backend. Via web services to the SmartSAFE, the component transparently administers the signing ceremony by providing user authentication, a signing ceremony and document submission to the SmartSAFE for long-term retention and viewing. Since you control the user interface, the experience can be an extension of your current applications or a new signing interface.

This flexible solution is ideal for all forms or documents that require legal signatures and long-term document management. Documents are time-stamped and expiration dates are checked, providing important transaction history.
