eSignSystems has successfully tested Registrations, Transfers and eDelivery transactions with the MERS eRegistry. The MERS functionality is included in the SmartClose™ module, specific to the mortgage industry and is compatible with eTMS version 5.00 and higher. The Solution: SmartClose™
SmartClose is an optional component that extends the power of the SmartSAFE to include electronic notary functionality for all necessary documents, as well as integration with the MERS® eNote registry for transferable records specific to the mortgage industry. The module offers eNotarization through integration of World Wide Notary’s DigaSign application and the SmartSAFE. Notaries will be able to download documents requiring eNotarization directly from the SmartSAFE, perform the notarization via World Wide Notay’s DigaSign solution and seamlessly upload the documents back to the SmartSAFE.
SmartClose extends the SmartSAFE’s current ability to sign SMARTDocs, as SmartSAFE users will now be able to register and transfer SMARTDocs on the MERS eRegistry from the SmartSAFE. In addition, a user will be able to initiate and accept eDelivery packages between the SmartSAFE and the MERS eRegistry, enabling seamless integration with eMortgage investors. In addition, the module includes robust administration, notification and reporting tools. |
